A really feel-good movie…Dan In Real Life
I watched “Dan In Real Life” at the cinema recently and have to say that it was one of those movies that makes you feel all happy inside, all the way through. The main character, single-father Dan ends up visiting his parents and thinks he’s met ‘The One’ whilst in a local bookshop. However, on arriving back at his parent’s house, his brother turns up with the same woman. Prepare yourself for lots of laughs as the family dilemmas begin in this winter comedy and make sure you see it with your boyfriend because you’ll be needing a nice big hug after this one! Casting Will Smith as the lone survivor in New York’s virus ravaged landscape was a good decision after all in the recent release of
Pete here - from time to time I like to highjack rach’s blog and write about films i’ve seen recently, as such I watched ‘Stardust’ the other night and here’s my thoughts. 8 out of 10, loved it really. Ricky Gervais has a great cameo role in it and basically plays himself as always, with no character change at all. Robert De Niro is hilarious playing a pirate captain with a fetish for dressing up in women’s clothing and Michelle Pfeiffer plays an excellent witch! I think i’ll be buying this one on DVD when it comes out.
